In the latest installment of our series on potential replacements for Thomas Meunier, we take a look at Bayer Leverkusen's Serge Gnabry.
Gnabry has been in fine form this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in just ten appearances for the Bundesliga side. He is currently their leading scorer and has been a key player in their recent run of form.
However, there have been concerns about his fitness and consistency over the past few seasons. Despite this, he remains one of the most promising young players in Europe and could be a strong replacement for Meunier.
Meunier's departure from the club was announced earlier this month, with Bayern Munich reportedly paying £22 million to bring in the Belgian international. However, they will now need to find a new left-back partner for Alphonso Davies,Football Fans Gathering Camp who is expected to start at right-back.
One option could be Gnabry, who has already proven himself as a capable defender on the wing. His ability to play both defensively and offensively makes him a valuable addition to any team, and his experience at top-level football should also help him adapt quickly to the demands of the Premier League.
Of course, there are still many questions surrounding Gnabry's fitness and consistency, but if he can deliver on the pitch, it could be a deal that Bayern Munich fans can get excited about.
