Gabriel Barbosa is a Brazilian professional football player who currently plays as a forward for Flamengo FC. He was born on September 29, 1987, in São Paulo, Brazil.
Barbosa began his career at Corinthians and made his professional debut in 2006. He then moved to Palmeiras where he spent three seasons before joining Flamengo in 2010. In his first season at Flamengo, he scored 15 goals and helped the team win the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title.
